Oona joined the team at Antler to drive the launch in Helsinki and is responsible for scouting for founders in Finland for the three month residency program that Antler runs twice a year. With a background in sales and startups, she's excited to join the local VC ecosystem. Sakari NurmelaDirector, Verian
Sakari has worked for more than a quarter of a century with social research and is a man of more than thousand surveys. He started at Suomen Gallup, which later on became Kantar Public. Recently Kantar Public became Verian.
Sakari works as a research director and along the way has been involved in all types of social opinion research projects. Currently, he focuses especially on research related to politics and is behind, among other things, estimating the voting intention and policy preferences of the Finnish supporters and the Party Barometer survey (known as Puoluebarometri in Finnish). Moreover, Sakari is involved in other social research for the public sector and companies.
